3. Accessibility Service Usage
HIT Mission uses Android’s AccessibilityService API solely to provide voluntary focus and distraction-reduction functionality during active Missions.
The service is used to:
- Detect when selected distracting apps are opened
- Temporarily restrict distractions during active user-initiated sessions
The service is NOT used to:
- Collect personal data
- Read messages
- Capture passwords
- Monitor financial activity
- Track browsing behavior
Accessibility permissions are used strictly for the app’s core digital wellbeing functionality and only with explicit user consent.
